Mane Issue was shaped by experience, not assumptions.
Before creating the brand, we spent time understanding the frustrations that consistently surround the hair industry: inconsistent quality, limited transparency, inaccessible information, and a lack of genuine customer care. As hair clients ourselves, we recognised a gap between what was being offered and what people actually needed.
Our response was to build something more considered.

COMMUNITY | THE MANE EVENT
Beyond product, Mane Issue is designed as an environment, one that values education, inclusion, and clarity. Through our journal and lookbooks, we aim to remove the barriers created by gate-kept information, offering guidance that supports people across different backgrounds, hair types, and levels of experience.
Community is equally important to us. Each year, we host the Mane Event, an intimate gathering offered to a small number of email subscribers, selected at random, as a way to give back to those who support the brand and to foster genuine connection.
ETHICS | EQUALITY
At the core of everything is quality. Our hair is ethically sourced, prepared in small batches, and selected for longevity and natural movement. We work closely with trusted partners and donor families, contributing financially and maintaining respectful, ongoing relationships throughout the sourcing process.
From transparent delivery timelines to responsive customer care and clear returns policies, every detail is considered. Not to be louder, but to be better.
Mane Issue exists to offer a refined standard in an industry that deserves more intention.
